Flowers From the Flock: Needle‑Felting Everlasting Blooms

Explore the magic of needle‑felting as you transform locally raised wool into cheerful, everlasting blooms!  

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to shape petals, form centers, and add leaves and stems so they stay vibrant season after season.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike — no prior felting experience needed. You’ll have a wide palette of colors to choose from, and you’ll leave with one or two finished flowers of your own design, made at your own pace.

You’ll Learn:

• Needle‑felting basics and safe tool use

• How to sculpt petals, centers, and stems

• Techniques for shaping and refining wool into floral forms

• Tips for color blending and adding personality to your blooms

You’ll Take Home:

• One or two cheerful, everlasting felted flowers — a beautiful start to a handmade bouquet you can keep adding to over time (shhh.....we'll likely be doing another flower workshop in late Summer!)

• A new skill you can use for future projects

• A deeper connection to local fiber and handmade craft

All materials and tools are provided. Just bring your creativity!

Alrighty, now that you know WHAT you're doing, learn about WHO you're doing it with! Our lovely instructor is Noelle, from Big Ash Farm. The wool you will be using comes from her farm - literally farm to table, turned into flowers! She also hand dies the wool herself. Its truly a unique experience to work with Noelle (in a good way!) I was lucky enough to visit her at the farm recently and meet the kind sheep who supply us our wool.

• There is no minimum age for this workshop. Please note that we will be using sharp felting needles, so if you plan to bring a minor, we encourage you to use your judgment and make the decision that feels right for your family.

• Advance registration required. Spots must be reserved ahead of time so we can prep materials accordingly. Because of this, tickets are non-refundable. 

• Wine and beer will be available for purchase, so you can sip while you create!
